Use Proxy for Facebook – What You Should Know
It is not exactly rocket science to around the internet filter of a school or even a mid level business organization. Most schools, colleges, universities and business organizations install temporary barriers that can be easily bypassed when you use proxy for Facebook access. It isn’t very hard to find and use a proxy for Facebook nowadays. Even young school kids are doing it already! You can always use proxies but it is important to be aware of some common pointers to make the best use of them!
Internet Filters
A network administrator generally blocks a website by blocking its URL. The Uniform Resource Locator or URL of a website is the address or domain name. An administrator just enters this domain name in an internet filter’s blocked list and you cannot access Facebook or other popular websites in ‘ordinarily’ after that. You can, however, use proxy for Facebook or any other website in the world! This is one of the most common and popular ways of getting around internet firewalls or security filters installed by network administrators or server management officials.
When you use a proxy for Facebook, you basically browse the internet as an anonymous. In other words – nobody knows you or the admin of a school network or an installed internet filter won’t be able to recognize the kind of data you are accessing on the World Wide Web. Since a network administrator cannot just block any website on the internet, you can easily manage to access Facebook by visiting a proxy website.
Every time you use proxy for Facebook, your school network admin will look at it as ‘you visiting the proxy website’ and not Facebook, Twitter or any other popular entertainment website on the internet.
As long as the network administrator is unaware of the fact that you are using proxy for Facebook access, you can continue to keep up with all your friends on Facebook! When an administrator or internet filter gets to know about the fact that students or employees are using a particular proxy to bypass the filter, appropriate configuration changes are made immediately to block the proxy website itself! Therefore, you can never expect hundred percent results from a single proxy website. However, you can always use a different proxy for Facebook. There are hundreds and thousands of proxy websites on the internet and it is nearly impossible for a network administrator to block them all! Therefore, you can always manage to find some unblocked proxies and use them to access the internet without any problems.
Use Caution
It is a good idea not to use a proxy website too often when you are on a school or company network. Doing so would naturally imply a red flag for a network administrator. You can just keep on switching proxy servers on a regular basis to keep accessing Facebook every day. If you use one proxy to access Facebook today, you should choose a different server on the following day.
